We opened our first store in 1985 in the Stony Point Shopping Center in Bon Air and a year later opened our second store in the Gayton Crossing Shopping Center in the West End. We have now proudly served the Richmond Area for over 23 years with quality toys and playthings. Children matter, and what they play with matters, and the care and attention to detail that parents put into choices matter. Every day that our children play with toys, every day they experiment, inquire, imagine, laugh and learn matters. The beginning of Toys That Teach was a desire to provide our own children with open-ended, imaginative, creative toys that would broaden their horizons of the world around them. Opening our stores was a way to provide our community with those same wonderous playthings our own children so enjoyed. If you live in our area, we hope you will visit our stores.
